Solid tungsten carbide (WC-Co) alloy blade. Tungsten carbide particles are homogeneously distributed in cobalt matrix; this structure provides both extreme hardness and impact resistance. Hardness value HRA 89-92 (approximately HRC 72-76 equivalent) far exceeds steel blades. Offers 10-50x longer life than steel blades when cutting abrasive materials. Disadvantage: High brittleness requires careful handling—sensitive to impact and bending. Proper mounting and usage is critical.
