Detailed Information
The 2CS1 series pentagon blades are special geometry industrial cutting blades manufactured in solid tungsten carbide and solid ceramic material options. With 66/63/40×0.54mm dimensions and 2×4mm mounting holes, they are designed for direct compatibility with sack and big bag production machines.
Material Options
- Solid Tungsten Carbide: HRC 90+ hardness rating with the highest wear resistance. Delivers extended life on intensive production lines. Preferred for cutting hard and abrasive materials.
- Solid Ceramic – White (Zirconium Oxide): HV 1600+ micro-hardness with a chemically inert structure. Ideal for food-contact approved applications and environments requiring corrosion resistance.
- Solid Ceramic – Grey (Silicon Carbide): HV 1600+ micro-hardness with high thermal resistance. Superior performance in heat-exposed cutting applications.
Applications
Used in PP (polypropylene) woven sack production lines, FIBC big bag production machines, geotextile and agricultural cover cutting lines. Pentagon geometry optimises the cutting angle to achieve a clean, uniform cut line.
Technical Details
The 2×4mm mounting holes provide a secure, vibration-free connection to the machine. The 0.54mm thickness creates a thin, precise cut line, while the pentagon geometry allows utilisation of all 5 cutting edges.
